First Impressions
The World’s Smallest Microscope, tested by CAMPKiN & MOO, has been a favourite in our house for over a year. Its portability, built-in LED light, and high magnification (it's not science class good, but more than enough to have fun) make it an incredible tool for exploring the hidden details of the world around us.
From everyday items like salt grains to natural finds like leaves and moss, this little gadget continues to amaze – for both kids and adults!

Set-Up and Features
Built-in LED Light: Essential for illuminating details in low-light conditions, making it perfect for outdoor use and late-day adventures (or even just dull days indoors when the sun isn't shining).
10x Magnification: Provides sharp, detailed views that reveal what’s not clear to the naked eye.
Portable Design: Weighing just 9g, it’s small enough to fit in your pocket or bag for on-the-go adventures (as always, it passes our test, small enough not to be bothered if not used but ready to go whenever).
Setup is simple – includes batteries, so it's ready to go.

The Test
We’ve tested this microscope at home and outdoors, and it never disappoints. For this review, we took it on a local nature walk to examine further:
Leaves: The veins and textures were stunningly clear.
Feathers: Every strand and barb was visible, making it fascinating to see how they’re structured.
Moss: As it got darker, the LED light made all the difference. It highlighted the intricate textures of the moss, bringing out vivid detail we wouldn’t have noticed otherwise.
Even after a year of use, it’s still a favorite for the kids – and I find myself just as fascinated. It’s amazing how something so small can bring so much fun and discovery.

Performance
Durability: It’s been well-used over the past year and still works like new.
Portability: The tiny size makes it ideal for taking anywhere.
Light and Magnification: The combination of the LED and 10x magnification ensures incredible detail, even in dim conditions.

What We Loved
1. LED Light: A game-changer for low-light exploration.
2. Versatility: Works for everything from natural finds to everyday items at home.
3. Portable Design: Lightweight and easy to take on adventures.

Room for Improvement
It would be great if it came with a small case to protect it when traveling, but we've had no issues with scratches or anything.
